The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process  and a program for adults who want to be Baptized or come from another Faith Tradition or need to complete their initiation. This length of time provides all with the opportunity to ask questions and to reflect upon their faith stories in conjunction with the doctrines and teachings being presented.  We follow the Symbolon Program from Ignatius Press and Lighthouse Catholic Media.

The implementation of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is addressed to the following groups:

• Unbaptized Adult Converts 
• Unbaptized Children of Catechetical Age 
• Baptized but Uncatechized Adults and Children of Catechetical Age 7 + up (Catholic or Non-Catholic) preparing for Confirmation or Eucharist 
• Baptized Christian (Non-Catholic) Candidates for Reception in the Full Communion of the Catholic Church

OCIA Form

The O.C.I.A. is primarily a journey of faith: 

• From the nudges, little voices and curiosity within one's heart, 
• through all those stages of asking and seeking, 
• through connections to Roman Catholics, 
• through hearing the Gospel proclaimed and by faithful reflection and prayer on this Word of God, 
• through study and discussion about beliefs, teachings, and practices,
• through doubts and hesitations, 
• through discernment of God's call.
• through the steps of commitment, 
• through the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Reconciliation, Confirmation, and Eucharist) 
• to a life of faith, love, and justice lived in communion with Catholics throughout the world.
