Here are some testimonies from St. Mary’s February 2018 God Is! Day of Renewal:

For me just talking with my group about my Faith.  I don’t often express this out loud.  I really enjoyed today. – Anonymous

Personal stories – realize I’m not alone.  Awesome – to realize we do not walk alone through this journey called life. – Tina

I really enjoyed the break-out sessions we had – it was beneficial, especially since this was my first spiritual retreat.  I especially liked the presentations that were given by each member of the church. Truly motivational and an inspiration. - Anonymous

Gaining that spiritual feeling again.  The peacefulness that I received during the whole day! The presence of the Holy Spirit! -- Elise

The testimonies of each person.  Helped strengthen my faith and reminded me of moments in my life I was touched by God. – Juan

The small groups were a wonderful was to discuss challenges and transformations in our faith.  It was also a blessing to get to meet and know others in our parish.  This was my second time at God Is and a beautiful reminder of the Trinity Compass. – Sandy

I benefited most from all the witness stories.  It was encouraging to learn how far people have journeyed to get closer to God.  I am still on my journey. – Anonymous

The speakers – letting us know how God has made a profound difference in their lives. Meeting members of the church.  Small group discussions.  Confession in unity. – Barbara

I loved the individual witness part.  Knowing about is good, but hearing about it is priceless.  It brought a realism to me.  I also found receiving the sacraments, especially communion and confession, to be perfect. -- Anonymous

Every minute of the entire day.  The impressive, beautiful, tear-jerking, personal stories.  Thanks so much for sharing.  I loved it! – Vicki
